Non-contentious Agricultural Partner 6+ years’ PQE HAMPSHIRE

Law firm well regarded for the work it does within Agricultural law is looking to recruit a non-contentious Agricultural Partner to its team in Hampshire. If you an Associate who is looking for the next steps to Partnership or an existing Partner looking for a new challenge, we would like to hear from you.  This role is part of the longer term succession plans for the team; so you won’t necessarily need to demonstrate that you have a following to be considered, as you will be introduced to clients so you can develop those relationships; but you will need to show that you have rural or agricultural experience, are driven, and will be able to develop longer term client relationships of your own. The team is well connected and has a national client base; acting for landowners, farmers, rural businesses and estates.  They have close allegiances with leading industry bodies including the NFU. Whilst a large element of the role centres on developing the relationships we have, and building new ones, you will also be expected to run your own caseload to serve those clients.  Due to the nature of the relationships they have in place, there will be an expectation that you will be able to travel to meet clients.

Candidates will need to show that they are a team player, ambitious for success and driven to help the growth of the Agricultural team’s presence.  It is important that you are able to provide advice to clients in a way they understand, so you will need to be able to adapt to your audience and convert the technical and legal advice into commercial advice they are clear on.
