Employment lawyer NQ – 2 years’ PQE NORWICH

Our client, a well-regarded regional law firm, has a rare and exciting opportunity for an Employment lawyer of 0 to 2 years’ PQE to join their highly rated Employment Team based in Norwich. The team has a strong reputation and the diversity of the client base makes the Employment team stand out from many of its local and regional competitors - from the small local employer and individual client, through to large national and international employers, this team acts for them all. The team’s portfolio includes an impressive array of national clients from the sporting sector (including a number of well-known names from the sporting world) as well as a number of national household names from a variety of other industry sectors. As both the non-contentious and contentious workloads of the team have expanded, the opportunity to grow the team has arisen. Our client will consider either an established solicitor (of up to 2 years’ PQE) with existing experience, or for an ambitious and driven NQ seeking to join a lively team where they will be given their own caseload and early responsibility - but with the prospect of learning from highly experienced lawyers in the team and having access to a stunning array of clients. If you are already qualified you will have very good knowledge of Employment law and experience of advising on contracts of employment, staff handbooks and disciplinary and grievance matters; use of initiative and ability to make quick and sound judgment calls on day-to-day issues; high standards of client care and the potential to build and maintain strong working relationships, both with clients and other team members. If you are newly-qualified, you will have undertaken a seat in Employment law.
