My client is an Established Legal Practice based in Manchester they provide clients with sensible, high quality, value for money services. They are a multi-disciplined practice and are now seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Criminal Defence Team

The Role.

The role of the Legal Secretary is to assist the property department with the day to day running of the department, you will be responsible for but not limited to.

• To provide secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, including managing and maintaining files from opening to archiving
• Liaising with courts, clients, etc in a highly professional and efficient manner
• Handling telephone enquiries, making appointments, and taking messages
• Producing letters and legal documents, including court forms and statements
• Copy and audio typing.
• Copying, scanning, and faxing, including preparation of large court bundles, filing and other general administration work

The Candidate.

You will be an experienced legal secretary; you will be confident and an excellent communicator both orally and written. You will be experienced in managing diaries and task lists as well as be competent in preparing legal documents as well as filing.
