An experienced and enthusiastic Senior Internal Communications Executive or Internal Communications Manager is sought by a rapidly expanding international law firm.
The firm's internal communications function sits within a close knit and supportive global communications team. Based in London, the team look after the firm globally and as such are responsible for building networks and relationships with staff from all around the world. This role will be integral to this relationship network and the firm are looking for an engaging and confident individual who is able to work with colleagues across all levels in the firm. Writing needs to be a passion for the role holder as curating and editing engaging internal communications will be a major focus for this position. The Senior Internal Communications Executive or Internal Communications Manager will be heavily involved with the firm's intranet, sourcing and drafting news articles, managing the editorial calendar to include scheduling articles to align with upcoming events and providing readership analysis and other relevant information for management reports. In addition, other internal communications responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of guides, templates and training materials and working with external and digital colleagues to dovetail internal messaging with external messaging. Supporting the communication requirements of the firm's D&I and CSR initiatives and building relationships with those delivering these initiatives throughout the firm will also represent a key element of this challenging and varied role.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will have proven experience working in a similar role within a professional services firm. It is essential that the Senior Internal Communications Executive or Internal Communications Manager possesses outstanding communications skills and is able to work effectively and confidently with multiple senior stakeholders within a complex structure. Additional languages, particularly German, French, Spanish or Italian, and a strong working knowledge of WordPress, InterAction, Concep, InDesign, and Photoshop are also highly desirable.
