My client is a leading Legal 500 Birmingham-based firm with a well-established Private Client team. Due to continued growth in this area, they are looking to add a Solicitor with approximately 3 years’ PQE to their team.

The firm has a strong identity within the Birmingham legal community and offers a range of commercial and private client services, all of which are highly regarded. Their private wealth team deals with a broad church of work, however the role that they are seeking to recruit for would be typified by 'traditional' private client work, so areas concerning Wills, estate planning and administration and Trust.

Given that the role would suit a mid-level Solicitor or Legal Executive, so as guidance, someone with in excess of 3 years' PQE, you will ideally come from a strong regional firm where the client base would include high net worth clients with assets that may include business interest, shares, pensions, properties etc. Accordingly, the STEP accreditation would be good evidence of your technical experience in this area.

The firm prides itself on offering outstanding client care and delivering an excellent client experience. They would look to whomever they recruit to participate in business development activities, so some background in this would be vital.
