Private Client (Wills Tax Trusts & Estate Planning) lawyer 3+ years’ PQE LONDON

Private practice law firm in London which is listed in the directories for the work it does in Private Client (Wills Tax Trusts & Estate Planning) law is seeking to recruit a Private Client lawyer of 3 or more years’ PQE to join their team. The team is looking to recruit because, despite the wider problems of Covid of the last year or so, they have remained exceedingly busy throughout that period and, as such, need to expand the team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload involving all aspects of UK and (more so) international Wills, Trusts, Tax and Estate Planning.  You will also draft relevant deeds, documents, advice notes, letters and correspondence tailored to the client’s individual needs and requirements. The clientele are almost exclusively high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

The key to being considered for this role is having the international experience, which is essential, as you will be supporting a Partner whose focus is primarily on international Private Client matters. Any experience of Charity/Philanthropy law would be of interest but is definitely not essential. Ideally, you will either be STEP accredited or currently studying to become STEP accredited. However, if you are yet to take the first steps in doing so, this firm will support you in your quest to acquire the STEP qualification. In addition to candidates currently working in the England and Wales jurisdiction, our client will also consider candidates who may be looking to return to London and who are currently working for one of the offshore law firms in either Jersey, Guernsey, BVI, Cayman or Bermuda.
