My client is a leader within the media space with an EMEA HQ in London. With a global presence and working with some of the World's most well-known brands, they offer full broad all-encompassing media experience and as such the legal team are intrinsic into ensuring success for their clients. The legal team is growing with the requirement for a Legal Counsel - Digital Media Group base in the London office.

Description

Legal Counsel - Digital Media Group will be part of the EMEA Legal team reporting into the Legal Director.

The key focus for this role is drafting and reviewing of wide-variety of contracts including agreements with clients, supplier & vendor terms of trading and media owner contracts

Typical agreements include:

• sponsorship
• experiential marketing
• influencer/talent agreements
• digital content
• marketing
• advertising

You will be responsible for supporting the business with pitches, negotiating with clients and vendors, liaising with and reporting to group Legal Director, Agency CFOs & group finance controllers. Stakeholder management & engagement across the group is key to this role.

Profile

The successful Legal Counsel - Digital Media Group will be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales having obtained a training at a leading law firm or in-house business.

You will have strong commercial experience with exposure to supporting a umber of internal teams including sales, procurement, creative and the finance divisions.

You will enjoy a fast-paced environment with a variety of contract types both small & simple and large & complex.

You will be c4+ years PQE and have ideally both in-house & private practice experience.
