£70,000 - £80,000 + bonus & benefits

Due to expansion, a great in-house opportunity has arisen for a lawyer to join this global professional services business and advise on a wide array of commercial matters and projects.

Joining an international team but based from either Leeds or Manchester, you will be working on a variety of commercial contracts and projects with clients and suppliers both here in the UK and internationally, including Europe and the Middle East.

This second-in-command role to the Head of this particular legal team will expose you to interesting and varied matters on an international scale. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting long-term strategic projects surrounding the business’s global expansion as well as day-to-day commercial issues.

The role will involve constant contact with people around the business at all levels, as well as with suppliers and clients. The in-house team is experiencing a period of real investment and this is a key appointment for the business.

Unlike the majority of in-house roles, there is significant legal support and resources available to facilitate your work, including access to precedents and a know-how team. The business is keen to ensure that the successful candidate is supported in terms of professional development. You will also have access to excellent on-site facilities and benefits as well complete flexibility and remote working options.

A strong commercial contracts background is preferred, although this role may also suit someone with a Corporate background who has experience of drafting and negotiating contracts.

The role is open to those looking ideally for a full-time role but part-time working is available.

Because of the international nature of the work, language skills would be useful but are certainly not essential.
