CRM & Data Manager - Leading Essex Accountancy Firm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced CRM and Data Manager to join one of Essex's leading accountancy firms.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with colleagues across Marketing, the wider firm and third party data suppliers, you will act as the product owner and super user for the firm's Workbooks CRM and must develop a deep understanding of the firm's practice management system, both as a super user of the system and the underlying database structure. You will take responsibility for managing the firm's data, including client data, 3rd party data providers, data systems and processes and ensure it is and managed in a legally compliant manner in line with commercial best practice The CRM and Data Manager will provide first level support for the CRM system, responding to day to day queries from the firm and maintaining the integrity of the prospect data pool by using external sources to validate records, including third party data providers as appropriate. The successful applicant will identify, plan and implement a variety of CRM and data management projects and support the Head of Marketing in the preparation of various reports relating to new business performance. You will also be tasked with establishing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly data maintenance routines, owning the creation of exception reports and the rectification of any outstanding data issues highlighted. Training colleagues on best practice for the systems, developing and communicating processes for colleagues to follow and adhere to for both firm's practice management and CRM systems, will represent an important element of this varied role.
The role holder will and will require an excellent academic background or equivalent allied to proven professional services experience working as part of a B2B Marketing team and providing campaign management and execution support to drive commercial business outcomes. The CRM and Data Manager will have a good working knowledge of databases, including a deep understanding of the relationship between CRM systems and marketing automation platforms, and previous experience of working with external data providers, to license GDPR-compliant datasets to fuel sales and marketing activity, and of working with client data within CRM systems. Confident, pro-active and organised with a high attention to detail and excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills, the successful candidate will also have a proven ability and willingness to take the initiative and will enjoy providing the best possible service, being prepared to "go the extra mile" when needed to meet performance and client service standards.
