Corporate Consultant - In House

Objectives:

To make a positive contribution to this niche companies bottom line as a fee-earning consultant by encouraging, equipping and assisting clients to structure, draft, negotiate and deliver more profitable deals through contract creation, negotiation and education. That includes:

• taking the time and trouble to get to the bottom of the client’s business requirements, end developing deal structures and contracts that support those requirements;
• taking the opportunity presented by each client engagement to share knowledge and expertise with the client;
• developing in each client an awareness and understanding of the importance of good contractual relationships and documentation; and
• ensuring that each project is followed through properly so that the client obtains full benefit from the work done 
• To identify and develop new business opportunities To work proactively with colleagues in the contract consulting team, supporting junior and senior team members as necessary to deliver the best service to clients while making the most of learning and teaching opportunities for the team. To provide accurate, consistent advice and support to  clients and to colleagues on company secretarial matters, ensuring that transactions and business activities are properly documented both in the client’s statutory books and at Companies House. To provide accurate, timely and diligent support for M&A transactions, ensuring that the transaction is completed in accordance with the company’s Articles, shareholder agreement and other documents. To contribute to the company body of knowledge with regard to company law and company secretarial matters, good drafting practices and contract law and practice. To keep up to date with current developments in case law and legislation related to your  activities. To promote the reputation of the company as a professional and highly competent provider of practical, business-focussed commercial contract and negotiation services and training
