January 2021 - brand new role offering the opportunity to enhance your career and significantly improve your lifestyle. Interviews taking place this month by VC.

We have a brand-new opening, as of January 2021, for a corporate lawyer to join one of the world’s elite offshore law firms in the Channel Islands. For a City lawyer who is craving a change of scene but who is nervous about stepping off the ladder, this could tick lots of boxes. You will advise on the same calibre of complex, high-value international corporate/private equity/M&A transactions as you would expect in a leading London practice. You will enjoy greater client contact, greater personal responsibility, and in all likelihood, better career progression. On a personal level life in Guernsey is good with the island regularly topping standard of living charts for the British Isles.

There has never been a better time to make this move. The offshore sector has proven remarkably resilient in the face of the global pandemic. Workflows remain good and recruitment levels steady, whilst on a day-to-day basis, the islands have managed the impact of Covid-19 admirably well. In Guernsey, life is as close to ‘normal’ as it gets in the current climate.

We are keen to speak with corporate lawyers with 2-6 years’ pqe from good UK/international law firms. Please get in touch for more details.
