Senior Child Care Solicitor

I am working with a well-established, award-winning Huddersfield based law firm with an excellent national reputation who are looking to hire a Senior Childcare Solicitor, with aims to step into a Partner positon within the next year.
The ideal candidate will a passionate and committed Childcare Solicitor with 12PQE, wanted a challenging and rewarding opportunity with a highly regarded law firm. Applications are invited from hard working and ambitious Childcare Solicitors 12PQE, accredited Law Society Children Panel, who are looking for a Senior position within a collegiate and supportive working environment. An excellent Childcare Solicitor role with a forward thinking law firm, salary is negotiable and dependent on experience, upwards of £45,000 plus excellent benefits.
The successful Childcare Solicitor will join a small, friendly team managing a majority caseload of public funded matters representing parents and guardians on a local and regional basis across a variety of Children Law matters. By its nature the day to day will vary and will often require quick decision making and quick turnaround applications to make of work will include Care Orders, Supervision Orders, Special Guardianship, Emergency Protection, NAI and removal of Children and exceptional litigation cases based on the LAA high costs events model. Strong client care skills and a can do attitude will help build out your personal brand and drive growth in the department.

The successful Childcare Solicitor will possess a minimum of 12 years experience gained in a busy high street or regional legal environment, will of course have demonstrated the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, has to enjoy meeting people and be driven to do the right thing in a sensitive and supportive fashion.
