Healthcare Property Paralegal

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an award-winning, international commercial law firm. They are looking for an ambitious paralegal to join the firm’s Health Property team.

The successful candidate will help assist on a wide range of Healthcare property matters for the NHS and private sector organisations operating in the Health and Social Care Sector.

The Role:

• Drafting land registration applications, leases, licences, tenancies at will, surrender deeds and agreements for sales.
• Drafting various advices/ correspondence to clients.
• Completing and submitting SDLT forms.
• Financial administration relating to the sale and purchase of properties.
• General assistance with the team’s workload.
• Providing administrative support to all users of the service as required.
• Property work for NHS Property Services and NHS clients and general commercial and residential property to assist the team.

 Requirements:

•  Excellent academics, ideally gaining a 2:1 at degree level. Knowledge/experience of the property sector.
• Good IT skills.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise and plan work appropriately so that deadlines are met.  
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team and develop relationships within the wider team.
• Willingness to take responsibility and ownership of client work with supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Public and health sector work experience and Knowledge of the NHS and how it operates is desirable.
