Client Relationship Manager - International Law Firm
A leading international legal practice with a global presence is looking to appoint a Client Relationship Manager to work with the firm's Marketing team in London.
The Client Relationship Management team focuses on developing the relationship management approach for the global strategic financial institution and corporate clients. This role will focus on the management of bank relationships and on sharing and encouraging best practice in relationship management as the firm rolls out key elements of this approach to local and regional CRM programmes. In this role you will be expected to develop a comprehensive understanding of the structure, operations and strategic direction of the clients you manage, build an understanding of how and where the firm can best position itself in relation to these clients, and work alongside the Global Relationship Partners to implement retention and targeting initiatives to strengthen the relationship between client and firm. The aim is to progressively increase the client revenue streams and profitability. The Client Relationship Manager will cultivate and develop direct client contact, manage the annual client planning review process for their clients and develop a client listening approach and carrying out client listening activities. The role holder will also be responsible for managing the production of client-related business analysis and assisting in the development of a secondment strategy, including managing the secondees for their clients.
You will be a bright graduate or equivalent with relevant marketing qualifications allied with proven client relationship management experience gained in a large professional services organisation. Previous change management, business analysis and desk research experience and a strong customer service focus are also essential. Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure, whilst effectively directing junior members of staff, the Client Relationship Manager will possess excellent communication skills and have a high attention to detail. Strong knowledge of the financial services sector is an advantage, but not necessary. An interest in developing sector knowledge is prerequisite.
