Associate Business Development Manager (12 Month FTC)
One of the world's leading law firms requires an Associate Manager to take responsibility for a full business development role supporting the Global and London Antitrust groups on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.
The Associate Business Development Manager will enjoy a varied role working closely with Partners, Associates and Knowledge Management across the network to develop the profile and enhance client relationships for the Global and London Antitrust groups. You will work closely with senior management to identify the right work, right clients and support the best team and best delivery objectives, which are central to the wider firm strategy. The role holder will lead marketing and BD support, implementing the group's business plan and strategic initiatives, overseeing the Global Antitrust client programme and taking responsibility for least one global strategic client team. Bids will represent an important element of this role, with the successful applicant working on some of the major panel and transactional pitch opportunities that the team is asked to contribute to and advise on, supporting the pitch process from the initial kick-off meeting through to presentation rehearsals. On the marketing side, you will need to drive forward the marketing and social media strategy for the group, including working closely with the PR team to help profile key successes. Main duties will include directory, awards and league table submissions, production and distribution of marketing communication material, implementation of thought leadership campaigns and coordination of client events, both off and onsite.
In order to perform this challenging role successfully, the candidate will have previous experience in professional services business development, preferably in a law firm, to include a track record of working on competitive proposals and of leading successful marketing campaigns. A highly motivated self-starter and exceptional team player, committed to high performance, the Associate Business Development Manager should hold a degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline and must be confident, articulate, resilient and focused.
