Senior BD Executive (Capital Markets) - Global Law Firm

An excellent opening has arisen for an experienced BD specialist to join a very prominent capital markets sector group in a leading international law firm. The role would probably suit a very strong executive looking for a step up in responsibilities.

Operating closely with the partnership and interacting daily with fee earners both in London Capital Markets and across the network, the role holder will support the London-based Capital Markets lawyers in business development in the drive to implement the firm's strategy, through the project management and successful delivery of business development, client focus and marketing initiatives. You will provide day-to-day assistance to Partners and Lawyers in the London-based practices, in this hands-on role, as well as establishing and maintaining best practice for business development activities across the practices. On the BD side you will provide support on the production of tender documents and manage the client development for one or more client accounts, taking an active role in client planning. The Senior Business Development Executive will have strong involvement in broader marketing and communications. The successful applicant will manage marketing campaigns, conferences, sponsorships and advertising and coordinate client events, both off and onsite. You will also be tasked with the management all directory, awards and league table submissions and the production and distribution of marketing communication materials.

The successful candidate will be joining a very strong team, providing an excellent environment in which to develop. The Senior Business Development Executive will require an excellent academic background allied to proven business development and marketing experience gained in a professional services firm, preferably in a law firm. Some experience of or enthusiasm for working in capital markets will also be seen as highly beneficial.
