Corporate Lawyer, In-House

A global group of companies in an acquisitional phase is looking to hire a corporate lawyer to join the collegiate experienced legal team. Working within the group legal function you will provide a wide range of legal advice concerning the businesses across the mining, metals and financial services sectors, amongst others. You will work on internal corporate transactions as well as directing external counsel on larger cross-border corporate transactions. You will prepare and negotiate commercial contacts working closely with the senior leadership team.

To be considered for this position you should be between 3 and 8 years qualified, confident with drafting share purchase agreements and have worked on many large M&A deals. Ideally you will have private company and business acquisition buy-side experience and the ability and confidence to lead on transactions. You need strong academics and a good training from a top City firm. German language skills will be a benefit but not essential.
