Head of Private Client

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a boutique firm in Cheshire (not too far from Manchester City Centre) to Head their Private Client team.

Our client is a boutique practice focusing on high net worth personal services to clients in the local area and beyond. An opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Private Client solicitor to head their small team.

As Head of Department you will be responsible for managing and supervising the junior solicitor and paralegal in the team as well as undertaking your own case load of private client matters, often those that are complex and of high net worth. Work will include Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Tax and Trusts, Probate and Court of Protection.

There is an existing caseload and client base and so no immediate following is required, although given the seniority of the role, a strong network of contacts would be advantageous. Likewise, whilst STEP qualification would be desirable, it is not a deal breaker for the right candidate.
