Well established Birmingham firm is seeking an experienced Planning Associate to join their successful planning team.

Due to an influx of new instructions, the firm is keen to appoint a further experienced planning associate with ca 3 years PQE+ The team is busy and advises a range of clients including local government bodies and public sector authorities.

In this key role working alongside the Head of Department, you will take ownership of a range of matters relating to high quality planning and highways work, advising on major mixed use and urban regeneration schemes, compulsory purchase, Section 106 and planning related land acquisition work. You will be encouraged to develop relationships with clients, helping to raise the profile of the team locally and working as part of a successful and growing planning practice.

Ideally you are likely to have a minimum of 3 years+ experience as a planning lawyer with another recognised commercial firm or local authority, although applications are welcomed from lawyers who are more (or less) experienced and this is a guide only. This is an exceptional and rare opportunity for an ambitious associate to achieve swift progression with a leading regional firm.
