Dispute Resolution Partner

This is a unique role for a Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution to run the Litigation department, focusing predominantly on Property and Commercial Litigation.

It is common place for their Solicitors to be called upon by the media such as Sky and the BBC for their opinion, interview and first comment due to their high level of expertise. They work with big name clients and are known for their Legal Aid work.

The firm has recently taken on over 30 new members of staff, bringing their total headcount to over 140 staff. The practice is continuing to grow and you will work within a friendly, professional and dynamic team, at hand in a team of over 140 professionals.

The Role

This Legal 500, award winning firm are seeking a Dispute Resolution Partner to join their office in the City of London.

This is an exciting and growing department, giving you the opportunity to work alongside some of the top legal talent in the industry and there is a real demand for this kind of work by the firm's clients.

You will be able to work autonomously growing and developing the department. They are looking for someone with proven leadership and supervision skills who is a keen business developer and has a flair for strategic planning.

You will be experienced in all aspects of property law and civil litigation, including landlord and tenant law, leasehold work, collective enfranchisement procedure and dispute resolution.

You will be working with colleagues specialising in housing and public law and you will receive referrals from the conveyancing department.

As such, you'll get exposure to a diverse and interesting caseload from day one.

Requirements:
