Contracts Advisor

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Contracts Advisor / Paralegal to join an in-house legal team in South Hampshire.

Description

You'll work with their in-house legal counsel to develop a bespoke contracts framework and you'll support central functions in evaluating bids, negotiating and agreeing terms with suppliers, preparing contracts, and making recommendations based on technical and commercial factors.

You'll review supply arrangements and maximise financial and operation performance. You'll establish policies and processes to ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory frameworks and codes of practice relating to all areas of the business.

Profile

• You're a confident character with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• While you enjoy team work, you know how to negotiate and make important decisions on your own initiative. You're an organised multi-tasker with great attention to detail and you work proactively to get the job done.
• You'll have hands-on experience and a solid understanding of contract law principles and practice, as well as technical and practical procurement knowledge.
