Corporate/Finance Lawyer – Offshore Law Firm – London

London-based, Cayman law-focused role spanning corporate, funds, and finance work.

An opening exists for an experienced UK/Commonwealth qualified lawyer to join the growing London office of this major offshore law firm. Focusing on Cayman Islands law, you will be working closely with a highly respected Partner on a broad practice that is likely to encompass aspects of corporate, banking and finance, and investment funds work. It will be ideal for someone who is looking to continue doing top-tier international work but who craves a less rigid environment than that which can be found in some large onshore firms. You will have lots of variety, lots of responsibility and you will be heavily involved in the client management and business development efforts of the team.

To be considered you will need at least 4.5 years’ relevant pqe in one of corporate, finance or funds, gained with a major City or equivalent international law firm, or with a well-known offshore practice. Offshore experience isn’t essential but applicants seeking to return from Cayman or another jurisdiction are encouraged to apply. You will have commercial acumen and strong communication skills, and you will relish the opportunity to build your network of client contacts.

There is no obligation to relocate at any point but there will be opportunities to move to the Cayman Islands in the future if the successful candidate wishes to.
