Solicitor Advocate / Barrister - An opportunity has arisen for an in-house solicitor advocate or barrister to join a growing team offering counsel to fee earners as well as running their own caseload of court files. The work will consist of a mix of EL/PL and fraud work. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to get involved in other areas of litigation as well as helping to improve the team's internal systems and processes.

• Previous Experience: Around 3 years of advocacy experience either as a solicitor or Barrister. EL/PL or fraud experience would be useful.

KEY RECRUITMENT

This is key hire for the Liverpool team. The chosen candidate will advise fee earners on strategy and assist experienced solicitors with their matters as well as running their own advocacy caseload. The aim of the role is to provide a complete service to clients and improve the overall advocacy offering.

The team is looking to recruit an experienced advocate who is also capable of mentoring and nurturing the less experienced members of the team. This is a varied role offering quality advocacy work and the chance to really develop your career with the full support and resources of a top 100 firm.

EXCELLENT LEVEL OF WORK

The role will involve a mixture of high-quality advocacy work together with providing detailed advisory direction to other solicitors and fee earners. This may include providing opinions, advice on particular aspects of the law as well as case strategy.

There is also an opportunity to get involved in providing real insight and guidance as the firm continues to develop software-driven products to further assist clients. The firm has a highly respected legal technology team, which works closely with solicitors throughout the practice group.
