Senior New Business Development Manager
A global law firm are seeking an ambitious Senior New Business Development Manager with a successful track record in new business acquisition to join the team and spearhead an exciting next phase of growth for the business on either a permanent or 12 month fixed term contract basis.
The current Client Development team is highly commercial with a fantastic team spirit. The Senior New Business Development Manager is a newly created position that reflects the firm's investment and ambition in delivering their three-year growth plan. This will be a client-facing role suited to a self-starter with an entrepreneurial outlook and drive to deliver. The firm are looking for an experienced senior sales and new business development professional to identify new target growth sectors, which might include Fintech, Insurance and high-growth corporates, and subsequently create and deliver a go-to-market strategy and proposition development. The role holder will be responsible for driving revenue to meet growth targets and will manage the end to end new business sales process. This will include qualification of prospects and building of target client lists; outreach to new clients; running client meetings; delivering on clients' requests for information and pitch materials; converting leads; development of a marketing plan and calendar of new business development activity; and creation of client marketing materials.
The ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent who love sales and is passionate about building new business areas and creating new client relationships in a collaborative and team focused environment. The firm are looking for someone who has experience of building and successfully executing new business development strategies and possesses a successful track record of working with senior buyers, preferably in the legal industry, including Heads of Legal and GCs. Proactive with excellent communication skills and the drive and ambition to succeed, the Senior New Business Development Manager will possess an entrepreneurial outlook and passion for continually improving processes and client delivery to ensure the firm remains at the forefront of providing a market leading client experience. Previous experience training and managing team members and of working for or with legal teams in the alternative investment, Fintech or high-growth corporate sectors are both highly desirable.
