An enthusiastic, detail-oriented and self-motivated Global Events Manager is sought on a 13 month fixed term contract basis for a law firm with a busy international team.
Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager, the role holder will manage client and firm events and will support the firm's business development and client relationship management strategy. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding in-person, virtual and hybrid events from proposal to completion, on time and within budget. The Global Events Manager will manage the Interim Events Co-ordinator and will work closely with Business Development Managers on event strategy and organisation. In addition to running the event on the day, be it in-person or virtual, you will be tasked with setting and maintaining timelines and priorities on every event, managing operational and administrative functions to ensure events are delivered efficiently, organising and designing marketing materials and managing and coordinating suppliers and all event logistics, including negotiating rates.
Key requirements for this role include a strong academic background or equivalent allied to manager level event experience gained in a legal or other professional partnership. The Global Events Manager will also need outstanding organisational skills and, as this is not just a tactical role, will need to show good planning abilities and a strong teamwork ethic. A good working knowledge of InterAction and Concep is also highly desirable.
