Commercial Solicitor

My client, a fantastic and extremely reputable Top 100 Law firm based in Birmingham are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Solicitor.

The Role:

As the successful Commercial Solicitor, you will be joining an extremely experienced and successful department, where you will be responsible for predominantly, managing your own caseload from start to finish.

The caseload will be complex and long-term project work, which may involve advising large Local authorities, Private sector companies and Government agencies on matters such as:

• IT Infrastructure
• Outsourcing
• Intellectual Property
• Service agreements
• General Commercial contracts
• Patient records

This role offers a broad remit, so it is important that you are very commercially focused.

Requirements:

In order to be suitable for this position, you will be able to demonstrate great experience in Commercial Law and be competent and efficient in managing a caseload with minimal supervision. Ideally, you will be 2-5 years PQE and have sound working knowledge of drafting commercial contracts with particular emphasis around IT.

Additionally, you will be able to reflect experience in dealing with non-contentious IP issues such as exploitation and licensing.

It is important that you are able to work well as part of a team and have excellent communication skills to liaise with clients at all levels.
