Contract and Procurement Legal Team Leader

£500 P/ DAY

3-6 Months +

Contract and Procurement Legal Team Leader is required to join a local authority based in the South East on an interim basis for a period of 3 months and the view to extend depending on permanent recruitment within the team.

The successful Contract and Procurement Legal Team Leader will be required to manage 2 full time contract lawyers and 2 part time contract lawyers across the service who are all experienced lawyers. You will be building new relationships with internal and external stakeholders and build on existing relationships with the Directors and Procurement managers within the authority as they move to an increased workload. You will be required to assist with streamlining processes and efficiences within the team with setting standardised templates and precedents.

You will also be confident in running of your own caseload which will bring some exciting development projects. Our client is looking for someone to possess excellent managerial and leadership qualities and those with excellent client care skills to understand the workloads for the commercial team to help drive them forward.

This role will be based remotely for the duration of the role but may require face to face meetings on the very odd occassion further down the line.
