The Firm

My client was founded in 2016, and since then has rapidly expanded currently spearheading personal services and development for clients. This has allowed for a more direct service and personal touch regarding both way of working and client care.

The client currently has circa 100+ consultants working on their model and are looking to increase this number to 200 by the end of 2021, on average onboarding 2 new consultants a week reflecting the growth and desires with views to expand internationally in the future.

The Opportunity

My client is looking for consultants to join on a flexible self-employed basis with their modern fee share model. Far better than their competitors they offer a starting branch of 75/25 in your favour and this only goes up once you hit any financial marks. My client is ideally looking for self-driven and entrepreneurial minded solicitors to join their team on a remote working basis.

Although the role is primarily remote working you do have access to any of their regional hubs and offices if that is more suitable to you where available and are not against opening new offices if they have a hub of consultants in the area as they have previously proven. Their model allows you to take eat what you kill/take home the lions share of your billings. They also offer a referral system of 15% for any work you refer to the firm/colleague that you may not be able to do yourself due to workload or simply because it is in a sector you do not work. This is only one of many opportunities they offer for you to increase your earnings as well as a marketing manager and full support to increase your own network as well as on occasion being directly provided work when available.

The firm offers flexible hours and autonomy, allowing you to work when and how you want without any micro-management on their part. Upon joining the firm will fully set you up and provide all software and support you require as well as covering indemnities and support where need.

This autonomy allows you to work and structure your hours and days how you see fit. My client is engaging with any consultant generating and growing their billings c£100k+.

Fee Share:

  • Billings of £100k – Take home 75%
  • Billings of £200k – Take home 77%
  • Billings of £200k - £300k - Take home 78.5%
  • Billings of £300k - Take home 80%
  • Billings of £500k+ - Take home 85%

Example:

Some food for thought, if your billables are £150k, with my client’s above fee share structure your annual take home would be £112,500! Do you have further clients and work and can hit the ground running with? With an ambitious reach £500k of billings will net you £425,000!
