Construction Paralegal

Leading national law firm is seeking a paralegal to join their Construction & Engineering Practice to work alongside their Partners, Associates, PSLs and Trainees where you will be a core part of this Partner-led team where you will be involved in transactional construction and dispute avoidance and resolution.  Duties will include collateral warranties, work as part of a team in conduct of adjudication, litigation and arbitration, be responsible for producing suites of engrossment form construction legal documentation, project manage completion processes, including satisfaction of conditions precedent and/or other requirements, correspond with other parties as part of transaction management and draft documents in consultation with other fee earners.  Applicants must have either a law degree or completed the GDL with the LPC being preferable but not essential, additionally you will need strong academics, good commercial acumen, an interest in AI, experience in drafting basic legal documents (previous legal construction experience will be prioritised) and correspondence with clients and the opposing side, experience in legal research, the ability to work under pressure and be strong on MS Office.  This law firm’s offices are based in the heart of Liverpool and will be remote working for the foreseeable but applicants will need to be able to commute and work from the Liverpool office post-lockdown.  This is a permanent position, standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm.  Salary £20-23,000
