The Role

The firm are seeking to hire a commercially minded Intellectual Property Partner to join their established Cambridge Office.

You will be responsible for further building or developing your own client base in the region, adopting the firm's ethos and working alongside the other Partners to build the brand further ensuring future success for you and your team.

Therefore, you must be client facing, business development focused and entrepreneurial to increase their Intellectual Property. Although this opportunity will be based around your specialist areas, however you will be expected to have a broad knowledge across all areas of Intellectual Property including:

• Trademarks
• Design and Copyright
• IP licensing and exploitation
• Protection and enforcement
• IP rights
• Commercial Contracts
• and Partnership Agreements

If you are an experienced and ambitious Senior Solicitor/ Senior Associate or a talented Partner seeking full autonomy - this firm will work with you closely to facilitate this offering full support to ensure the future success of the department.

Requirements

• You will be an Intellectual Property Lawyer with at least 8 years PQE +
• Experience of managing and mentoring more junior colleagues is advantageous
• You should have first-class communication, outstanding business development skills and an entrepreneurial flair
• A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
