Banking & Finance Lawyer

Opportunity for a banking & finance lawyer to combine a strong career move with a life-changing relocation to Jersey.

This elite offshore law firm offers banking & finance lawyers an opportunity to make a life-changing move without requiring any compromise in quality of work or long-term career path. You will be joining a team that compares favourably with any major onshore practice, and which advises an international client base of banks, financial institutions and corporations, on the Jersey elements of high-value and complex cross-border transactions. You can expect a broad range of work with corporate/acquisition finance, debt capital markets and funds finance/real estate finance among the key areas of focus. There will be plenty of scope to take on responsibility and you will be involved in client-facing work and business development from the outset.

You will be UK/Commonwealth qualified with at least 2 years’ relevant experience of high-value banking and finance work. The role comes with a competitive London level salary, an excellent bonus scheme and a good relocation allowance. Opportunities for progression, in what is a fast-growing firm, are excellent.

Process

Interviews will take place by videoconference with start dates typically three or four months later, depending on notice period. Our clients provide comprehensive assistance with licenses (where applicable) and relocation, including temporary accommodation on arrival.
