Costs Negotiator / Draftsperson - The Liverpool costs team is looking for experienced cost negotiators or draftspersons with previous high-value healthcare litigation experience to join the growing Liverpool city centre team.

OVERVIEW

  • Job title: Costs Negotiator / Draftsperson
  • Location: Liverpool
  • Salary: £30,000 - £45,000
  • Reports to: Partner
  • Previous Experience: Proven experience of defendant costs work ideally high value complex matters such as clinical negligence / healthcare litigation.

CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE WORK

The successful candidate will focus on high-value costs work such as birth injury cases and other clinical negligence work.

WHO THEY ARE LOOKING FOR

The firm is looking for someone with proven experience as a Costs Negotiator / Draftsperson. The team receives files concerning complex matters including medical negligence, high-value healthcare as well as commercial work including professional indemnity work. Applicants should be proficient in all the usual responsibilities such as drafting points of dispute and points of reply. Furthermore, the successful candidate should:

i) demonstrate excellent negotiation skills;

ii) work efficiently in a target driven environment;

iii) possess strong attention to detail; and

iv) work effectively as part of a busy team.
