Commercial Property Paralegal (healthcare property) Liverpool, up to c£28,000 (DOE). Leading and award-winning international commercial law firm delivering advice and strategic guidance spanning the full legal spectrum, from non-contentious advisory and transactional work, to all forms of commercial litigation. This dedicated Healthcare team are now looking to recruit a Paralegal to assist the firm’s Health Property team on a wide range of Healthcare property matters for the NHS and private sector organisations operating in the Health and Social Care Sector.

Experts in their field, the Health Property team regularly advises NHS bodies and independent sector providers of health services on a broad range of property matters. As well as CCGs, NHS Trusts and foundation trusts and primary care providers, the team advises key national organisations including NHS England.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
Drafting land registration applications, leases, licences, tenancies at will, surrender deeds and agreements for sales. Completing and submitting SDLT forms and reviewing files, deeds and financial administration relating to the sale and purchase of properties. Generally assisting solicitors, associates and partners with their work load, along with providing administrative support to all users of the service as required. Property work for NHS Property Services and NHS clients including Foundation Trusts and CCGs as well as independent sector providers, Education and general commercial and residential property to assist the team.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge/experience of the property sector. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritise and plan work appropriately, so that deadlines are met. Able to work independently and as part of a team and develop relationships within the wider team. A willingness to take responsibility and ownership of client work, with supervision and a professional and positive attitude towards work and interest in exploring and learning about new and unfamiliar legal areas. It would be desirable to have public and health sector work experience and knowledge of the NHS and how it operates, but this is not essential.
