Paralegal / Fee Earner / Legal Executive / Solicitor
Our client, a supportive and well regarded firm based in Leicestershire, is seeking to expand their busy property department.
They are searching for a property lawyer who could work closely alongside the firm’s managing partner and assist him whilst also handling their own caseload. The position would be ideally suited to an experienced paralegal with fee earning experience or a junior Solicitor or Legal Executive. The caseload would be a mix of residential and commercial property although you only need experience of resideital conveyancing to be considered for the position. As such, this is an excellent opportunity for residential conveyancers seeking to gain experience in commercial property.
You will initially handle a caseload of residential conveyancing matters and deal with all aspects of the sale, purchase and remortgage of residential property. You will gradually gain exposure to high quality commercial property work and learn from experienced Solicitors. Over time your caseload will shift to include higher and higher proportion of commercial property work which will include all types of commercial acquisitions and disposals and landlord and tenant work.
The firm as a whole and the property department in particular has gone from strength to strength in recent years and this position has arisen due to sustained organic growth.
We are interested in hearing from individuals with a minimum of two years fee earning experience in residential conveyancing who are comfortable handling a caseload autonomously. Applications will be considered from Solicitors, Legal Executives, Licensed Conveyancers and Fee Earners with the requisite experience.
