Law Costs Draftsman

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Law Costs Draftsman to join a well-respected award-winning law firm in its City of London office.

You will be part of a team dealing with costs matters on behalf an array of high-profile national clients. Your work will include:

• Costs Drafting
• Assessing bills of costs
• Points of Dispute
• Drafting Replies
• Costs budgets
• Negotiating settlements
• Schedules of Costs
• Attending costs hearings

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in costs, ideally including civil matters such as clinical negligence and/or personal injury. You should also be IT literate, including the use of specific costs software. Experience of detailed assessment hearings and CCMC would be advantageous but is not essential.
