The Role

The firm is looking for an entrepreneurial Corporate Partner to join their office in the heart of Leeds.

The award-winning department has worked on some of the most significant corporate transactions in the North and regularly act for a number of high-profile public and private clients, with an international flavour.

The department work for a whole host of different industry sectors which will make for a varied and interesting role. These include manufacturing, retails, financial, hotel, leisure, healthcare and renewable energy.

You will cover a caseload that will include a wide spectrum of high corporate matters including acquisitions, disposals, mergers, corporate structuring and reorganisations.

You will work closely with other Partners more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

Requirements

• You will be a Corporate Lawyer with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
• You will have first-class communication
• Outstanding business development skills and an entrepreneurial flair
• Experience of overseeing a team is desirable, however not essential
• A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
