The Role
2-5 PQE Commercial IP/IT Lawyer to join Top 75 team in Bristol
Playing a vital role in the IP/IT team in Bristol, you will offer in-depth, focused expertise in procurement, licensing and the supply of tech products and services to an enviable book of key public and private sector clients.
At the pinnacle of an ever-evolving landscape, you will thrive within high-value, long-term projects for numerous arms of the public and private sector, particularly those within the Health Sector
Whilst broadening your expertise, you will act as a key contact to clients in truly understanding their needs, offering legal advice of strategic significance.
In drafting and negotiating contracts, working on commercial transactional projects and supporting contract management, you'll demonstrate a passion for IT and Tech law, and will be rewarded with continued career development and progression.
Those who have worked in-house, within tech firms or the public sector, and looking to return to private practice will find this role a suitable avenue to do so.
The Requirements
- 2+ PQE relevant PQE
- Experience in IT and non-contentious IP matters
- Willingness to develop legal expertise, coupled with a hunger to progress and specialise within the team
- Creativity in solving problems, along with the communication skills and foresight required to form and nurture relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
