Senior Business Development Manager (Energy Focus)

Senior Business Development Manager role aligned to the energy sector in leading global law firm. Key account focus.

This well-known global law firm is looking for a senior business development manager to take the lead on all business development and marketing activities for the firm’s renowned energy sector across the EMEA and US region. The role will also have a focus on client relationship management activities for the firm’s top twenty clients.  

The role will involve:

• Developing and delivering the business development plan and strategy.
• Immersing yourself in the energy sector, keeping abreast of market trends and opportunities;
• Working with the client relationship partners to develop their ;
• Be client facing and develop relationships with the key clients to identify opportunities, cross-sell and introduce partners;
• Coaching partners in their pursuit of new business;
• Develop profile raising initiatives within the mining sector such as thought leadership;
• Immersing yourself in the mining sector to understand trends and issues, and taking opportunities to partners.

You must have significant business development and client relationship management experience in a leading international professional services firm and be comfortable in a client facing role.  Experience of the energy sector is desirable but by no means essential for this role.
