Chadwick Nott have just received instruction from one of our esteemed clients, a 'Top 50' law firm with an excellent national and international reputation. Their Corporate offering has been going from strength to strength over recent years, to the point that they can offer an opportunity for a Senior Corporate Solicitor to join their Legal 500 ranked team in Bristol.
This position is available at both Associate and Senior Associate level and offers a high level of autonomy, an industry-leading quality of work and the opportunity to work with an enviable client base which includes major international corporations and 'household names'. The team, which is top tier ranked by the Legal 500 for M&A work, advises on mergers, acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, stock market listings and securities offerings, management buy-outs and buy-ins, corporate governance, debt and equity financings and a wide range of other corporate, finance and tax matters. Though Bristol-based, you would be working in conjunction with the firm's London office and therefore have access to a London standard of work. You would therefore be regularly advising on transactions with values in the hundreds of millions.
The successful candidate can expect to work directly with partners and to focus on high value and high profile matters across a variety of sectors, including energy, technology, infrastructure, financial services and retail. They will also be furnished with further opportunities to lead on their own work and be encouraged in their career development provided they display the right competencies.
The ideal candidate should be either an experienced associate or senior associate with significant, demonstrable exposure to the above matters. Ideally they would have a background within a firm of similar reputation.
