Our client is a world class, industry leading business. They operate on a global scale and generate multi $billion revenues. They are forecasted for double digit growth in 2021.

To support this growth they are seeking to appoint a new lawyer with software expertise to their European hub in Germany.

Reporting into the G.C. this role will oversee a wide range of commercial legal matters across an international remit comprising Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The role will suit a talented, commercially astute lawyer with software contracts and licensing expertise* (see below).

Prior experience gained within an international environment is important together with the ability to handle a demanding workload and build strong business relationships. 

For consideration your profile must fit the following criteria:

  • Germany or compatible legal qualification
  • 5 PQE or above
  • 4 + years software and licensing experience including:

Various models of End User licensing, SAP licensing, Enterprise licensing, Distribution & Partner Agreements, VAR (Value Added Resellers), Tier II and Tier III technical software support.

  • Fluent German and English
  • MNC background coupled with strong technical skills gained with a reputed law firm
  • Strong business relationship building and interpersonal skills
