Senior Planning Lawyer

LAW Absolute is working with a local authority based in Surrey who are seeking a Senior Planning Lawyer. The role is being offered on a three month rolling contract basis.

The successful Planning Lawyer will be required to pick up an existing caseload from the outset. You will need to show demonstrable experience in S.106 agreements, S.278 agreements, regeneration projects and highways matters. You will also be required to attend planning committees.

Previous local government experience would be advantageous but not essential. It is essential you have a current and active practising certificate.

Candidates will be required to start the role on a remote working basis as the councils workforce are all currently working from home. We are seeking candidates available on no more than two weeks’ notice.
