Are you a Contracts Lawyer with Local Authority experience?

A well-regarded London Council is seeking a locum Contracts Lawyer to join their large, friendly team due to an increase in workloads.

There is also potential for this to be a Senior level role (without management responsibilities), depending on experience.

This assignment will begin on a 3-month contract with a view to extend on a rolling basis. You will be working mostly remotely and will be required to attend the office on your first day to collect IT equipment.

You must have at least 2 years of recent experience in a local authority, including procurement experience.

The successful Contracts Lawyer will handle a variety of matters, including but not limited to:

  • Drafting a variety of specialist contracts (such as IT, service, framework, waste disposal)
  • Advising on GDPR and FOI matters
  • Information law
