Project Finance Lawyer

Leading national law firm is looking to hire a Project Finance Lawyer to join their expanding offices in Edinburgh.

Role Profile:

This is an excellent opportunity for  Project Finance Associate level lawyer to move into a team focusing on renewable energy and major infrastructure projects. The team are recognised as being at the forefront of Net Zero, renewable energy and national infrastructure legal advice and is planning major growth. You will be based in Edinburgh as part of a growing team and working collectively with a wider UK Energy & Infrastructure team working on both national and international projects.The Project Finance team are well-known as leading advisers, acting for borrowers and lenders on project and infrastructure finance transactions. The energy project finance experience extends across a wide range of technologies including wind, solar, fuelled renewables, energy from waste and wave and tidal. In the Infrastructure finance market, the team advise on project financing issues across a broad range of sectors including smart metering, EVs, defence, highways, street lighting, hospitals, prisons and schools.

Candidate Requirements:

• Circa 2+ PQE and a background in project finance. Candidates from private practice or in-house are invited to apply. 
• Ideally experience of banking and financial transactions including LMA standard form documentation as adapted for Project Finance transactions.
• Team player with strong client management skills.
