Insurance PSL Lawyer, 12 month FTC, 5+ PQE - London

Our client, a highly regarded global law firm, is looking to bring on board an Insurance focussed PSL Lawyer for a contract of 12 months. The role will sit as part of a wider litigation team which handles Financial, Professional and Insurance Disputes.

Successful candidates are likely to have upwards of 5 years' PQE gained from a recognised quality insurance practice. Previous experience as a professional support lawyer/knowledge management lawyer would be beneficial, although not essential. Applications will also be welcomed from those looking to move away from a fee earning role into a professional support position.

Candidates are likely to have experience within the following insurance sub-sections: property; construction professional indemnity; financial institutions, directors and officers; professional indemnity claims against solicitors and accountants, or data breaches.

The successful individual can expect to be involved in:

• Technical legal content and knowledge development
• Providing strategic knowledge and development support to Partners globally
• Developing legal content for client seminars and knowledge development events
• Providing client updates on important legal and sector developments
• Running internal training programs
• Drafting briefings, internal newsletters and, occasionally, notes on cases for internal and external circulation
• Drafting and updating key know how documents and practice guides
