One of our highly regarded London Borough clients is looking for a Childcare Lawyer Advocate to join their in-house legal team for an initial 3-month assignment.
The ideal candidate will have experience conducting advocacy on childcare cases at various hearings including contested hearings lasting up to 10 days. You will be responsible for providing advice and case work on matters to include advice at planning/strategy meetings, issuing applications, liaising with clients and all parties and instructing experts.
Advocacy is the primary focus of the role. Therefore, the successful candidate will not be expected to carry their own caseload. You will be expected to have recent experience of Care Proceedings cases as well as PLOs, IRHs, CMCs, Directions hearings and final contested hearings lasting multiple days.
Previous public sector experience working as a Childcare Lawyer Advocate would be advantageous. It is essential you have a current practising certificate to be considered for the role.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
At LAW Absolute we endeavour to respond to all applications within 48 hours. However due to the volume of applications we receive we may not be able to respond to every candidate individually.
If you have not heard from us within a 48 hour timeframe your application has not been successful and your details have not been retained. LAW Absolute acts as an employment business for temporary recruitment and as an employment agency for fixed term contract and permanent recruitment.
