The Company:
Our client has expanded considerably over the past 10 years establishing a reputation as a genuine alternative to the Magic/Silver Circle firms, offering a significantly better work/life balance without compromising on the quality of transactions.
The Corporate team specifically is roughly 50-strong and, in keeping with the ethos of the firm, work with a broad range of financial institutions, technology, sports, media and publishing clients across multiple jurisdictions. This has seen them work on some of the most high-profile matters in the market in recent years including the acquisition of Premier League football clubs, advising media and energy companies on their AIM admission and advising major investment banks on restructuring matters.
The Role:
This is a very broad corporate role encompassing private M&A, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, restructuring and capital markets. The role will provide a mid-level associate with scope to work on a significant number of international transactions with real depth and variety across the media, sports, technology, energy and FS sectors.
Our client offers a very clear and transparent progression path for associates joining around 3-4PQE, with a clear track towards senior associate and partnership, coupled with one of the most competitive remuneration structures of any firm outside the elite US firms.
About You:
You will be a qualified solicitor with at least four-years post-qualification experience in corporate, gained at a leading international, City or regional firm and be looking to join a firm where you can gain exposure to a broad range of clients, whether it be sports and media or energy and FS. You may have enjoyed the freedom of agile working over the past 12 months and be looking for more flexibility moving forward with a firm that have a genuine respect for a work/life balance.
