BCL Legal is currently assisting a highly regarded firm in the West Midlands with the recruitment of an experienced Company Commercial Fee Earner to work alongside the firms highly regarded Senior Partner. This role involves all aspects of Company Commercial work and is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious mid level lawyer to work closely with an experienced and well-regarded member of the firm.

Candidates are required to have strong academics, ideally be based locally (in either Coventry, Warwick, Stratford, Solihull, Northampton, Daventry, Rugby, Nuneaton, Leicestershire) and will have strong experience in both company and commercial.

The firm is offering an exciting mix of general merger and acquisitions work as well exposure to private equity matters. The role will focus more on the corporate elements of the firms work. The successful candidate will get fantastic hands on exposure to work, excellent training and the chance to really progress their skill set within a highly regarded team.

This position would suit someone who is 3-5 years+ qualified, however the firm will also consider applications from those candidates with 2 years PQE. The source of work is from a mixture of existing clients, as well as direct enquiries, word of mouth and recommendations. Thew firm are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, and run with the existing caseload, from start to finish, with a proven track record of meeting fee earning targets and who is happy to be actively involved in business development.

This role will require some level of flexibility, due to the firms office location and the nature of the work involved, therefore candidates must drive and have their own transport. There may also be occasions where you will be required to stay late to meet the business and client's needs. The firm are offering excellent career progression opportunities for right candidate.
