***Niche Commercial Firm***

This niche property law firm based in Oldham are seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor or FCILEX to head their small and friendly team. With a fantastic work / life balance in place you will be able to deal with clients regularly on a face to face basis and perform site visits. This isn't your standard 9 - 5 commercial position!

You will be dealing with a broad mix of work and acting for company clients whilst dealing with shareholder disputes, contractual claims, professional negligence, property disputes and general litigation. With this being a small firm you will be dealing with a contrasting client base from private companies to regional and national SME's. Ideally you be around 5 years' PQE and be comfortable dealing with an unsupervised caseload.

There may also be a small smattering of broad commercial transactional work to  include sales & purchases of businesses and corporate deals as well as share sales & purchases. Training will be provided on this should you not have any relevant commercial experience.

You will have a ready made caseload in place and will be dealing with long standing clients who regularly refer work through to other departments and are the lifeblood of this firm. You will be expected to supervise one other solicitor and then to help with the steady growth of the team. Your focus will be dealing with complex transactions as well as supporting the senior partner with business development. There is a great team ethos at this company and a real feeling of 'all in this together', so the working environment is relaxed and grown up. A great work/life balance will be afforded to those who are willing to work hard during core hours and complete work in a competent manner.

This is a very autonomous position so will allow you the opportunity to deal everything from fee earning to client meetings and business development. Salary is based on experience level but a tremendous benefits package and bonus scheme will also be attached. Flexibility is also afforded and home working is in place however this will not be on a permanent basis and remote working arrangement can be suited to an individual, however you will have to work regularly from the office due to the nature of the team structure and togetherness.

For further information on this opportunity then please contact Nick Skelly at QED Legal for a confidential chat and to discuss this role in further detail.
