Senior Business Development Manager
A prestigious US Law firm is looking to hire a new Senior Business Development Manager on a permanent basis who will be responsible for guiding and implementing the business development strategies and tactics of the firms Corporate Practice in London. Reporting into the International Director of Business Development, the Senior BDM will be expected to perform all responsibilities with a commitment to providing superior service to the firm’s Attorneys, Advisors and staff and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement. Responsibilities will include contributing to the development and implementation of the Corporate practice’s growth strategy, leading certain practice, cross-proactive or other firm initiatives or client teams, managing pitches, proposals, and response to RFPs, and related research, research, analyse and strategize on client growth opportunities, collaborate with other members of the Business Development team to facilitate information-sharing and cross-selling among practice contribute to the onboarding and integration of lateral partners, keeping apprised of market, client and competitor trends, and disseminate information on key developments and actionable information as appropriate, identifying and implementing opportunities for thought leadership and content marketing, evaluation and coordinating speaking and other visibility efforts, assisting with event execution, responding to various industry awards, surveys and directories and contributing to transactional matter management. Candidates need to have a minimum of 5 years Business Development Management experience within a law firm, educated at degree level with excellent written, communication and organisation skills and an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. A salary of up to £100,000 is on offer plus fantastic benefits.
