Legal Cashier | Southport | up to £25,000 DOE

A fantastic firm located in Southport are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Legal Cashier to join their expanding firm on a permanent basis.

The successful Legal Cashier will join a hardworking team within a busy conveyancing environment providing a high standard and efficient service to the business. In line with the CLC Accounts Code you will handle various accounting duties.

The ideal Legal Cashier will be able to deal with:

* Daily bank reconciliations of client and office accounts

* Dealing with bank payments and transfers

* Billing and raising sales ledgers invoices and credit notes

* Month-end reporting

* Recording, billing, and monitoring of disbursement invoices

* Petty cash management

* Staff expenses

* Sales / purchase ledger management

* Dealing with Land Registry and HMCTS statements

* Posting and executing conveyancing transitional payments

* Dealing with general enquiries from Fee Earners, clients and staff

* Ability to work towards tight deadlines

The salary on offer is up to £25,000 dependent on experience.
